FAQ: I filed an appeal weeks ago, and never heard back. What do I do?
ESD takes 8-12 weeks to process an appeal right now. ESD processing the appeal either means ESD comes to a new decision or sends it to OAH for a hearing. The new decision could be positive or negative, so keep a close eye on your e-Services account.
The only way to know whether OAH has your appeal is to call OAH and ask them. OAH can be reached at (509) 456-3975, extension 3.
If OAH does not have your appeal after 8 weeks, contact your representatives. You can find your representatives here. Tell them that you filed an appeal with ESD months ago without any response from ESD and OAH has not received your appeal. If you have documentation of when you submitted your appeal, attach that documentation.
